Description

• You will report to our Head of Design and take full ownership of the Scan.com brand to establish a strong brand identity and ensure consistency across all our products as we expand across the US and the UK. • As a scale-up business, you can expect your role to develop over time. However, some of the types of things you could be getting involved in are:Maintaining and expanding upon our brand guidelines.Designing visual elements such as icons, illustrations, patterns, and other graphics that contribute to our overall brand.Designing marketing and promotional materials, including website visuals, digital ads, emails, social media graphics, brochures, leaflets and more.Researching and understanding our target audience, market trends, and competitors to create designs that stand out and resonates with our intended demographic.Working closely with our Growth, Marketing, Sales and Product teams, and clients, to ensure designs align to our brand's strategic goals.Adapting our brand's visual identity when we expand, evolve, and enter new markets/territories. This might involve minor tweaks or complete rebranding efforts.Ensuring a brand consistency across various digital platforms, including websites, apps, social media, and advertisements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar design tools.• Demonstrated proficiency in visual design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including branding, logo design, typography, illustrations and visual identity development.• Proven experience in developing and implementing brand identities for startups or established companies, including creating brand guidelines and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.• Experience conducting market research to understand target audiences, competitors, and industry trends.• Understanding of branding strategies and their application in design projects.• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices is a plus.
