Description

• We are looking for an engineer with experience in both front and backend development to help us grow our product portfolio. As a Full-Stack Engineer in the ID scanning team you will be helping us to deliver new features for the web version of our SDK, as well as a completely new, business-to-customer oriented web ID verification product. Additionally, you will be building innovative, experimental products and features in collaboration with mobile and ML engineers, the product team and the designers. • What You Will Do • Add new features and maintain our TypeScript/JavaScript library; • Develop and maintain new web products and server-side backends; • Build the web app demos, allowing us to showcase our products to customers; • Ensure our web infrastructure is always fast and scales well via code / server / cloud optimizations and monitoring; • Transform initial designs into full-fledged products; • Ensure quality by delivering unit and E2E testing; • Browser debugging and optimization. • Our Tech Stack • SvelteKit • NodeJS • WebSocket • TypeScript • Tailwind CSS • WebAssembly / Emscripten • C++ • Jest • Playwright • Python • Kubernetes • GitLab

Requirements

• You have experience in both front- and backend development, and you keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in your field. In your past career you have worked on large projects and deployed them to production successfully. • You constantly think about customer needs and you design APIs and solutions that provide the best experience for them. • You’re also someone who has a strong team spirit, is keen to collaborate on different projects, and share knowledge with your peers to ensure we’re always working with the best technologies and tools. • Ideally • You have 4+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Web development; • You have a very good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPs; • You have experience with web frameworks like React, Svelte, Vue or Angular; • You have experience with backend development; • You know common UNIX commands; • You have good knowledge of SQL; • You have experience with testing automation libraries like Playwright; • WebAssembly, C++ or Python knowledge is a plus; • Experience with cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure is a plus; • You are flexible and willing to learn new technologies; • You are able to work independently and take ownership of your projects; • You are thorough and pay attention to details;
