Description

• Cover a 24/7 shift pattern - no nights • Second line response and triage for security alerts • Analyzing logs and security events to understand root cause • Taking ownership for security incidents and incident management on shift • Generating customer facing security reports • Performing proactive threat hunting • Assisting in creation of threat detection analytics/use cases • Performing quality checks and assisting workload management for junior analysts • Acting as an escalation point for the internal shift and supporting customers • Implementing new processes and procedures and identifying improvement opportunities • Providing customer training on using the SenseOn platform • Mentoring and developing junior analysts • Supporting on call rota for critical escalation

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in role • Understanding of networking infrastructure, protocols, and topology • Experience with SIEM, MDR, EDR and vulnerability management tools • Proficient in using Structured Query Language (SQL) • Experience as shift lead (Desirable) • Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks • Strong knowledge of OS fundamentals and security hardening methods • Confident in security configuration changes and suggestions for customers • Strong customer facing experience both verbally and written • Great analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills • Team player with strong sense of purpose • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team • Tenacious, curious, passionate, with humility and empathy • Ability to embrace change and adapt to new challenges
