• Schedule medical appointments for inmates within institutional facilities • Coordinate health records and claims for inmates • Coordinate scheduling for patients and outside providers • Work with authorization codes to ensure accurate numbers are input into member notes • Maintain comprehensive case documents for all parties involved • Provide customer service to members, including sharing claim status with members and outside providers • Maintain professional relationships with key staff and providers • Ensure operational service level agreement and contract compliance within government programs
• Associate degree in any field • High level of understanding of medical scheduling and claims processing • Highly organized with ability to prioritize time and tasks to meet contractual agreements • Demonstrated accountability for maintaining extensive knowledge of operational service level agreements and contract requirements • Demonstrated experience with multi-tasking and ability to thrive and be proactive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to quickly pivot and adopt new ways of doing business with a customer-first focus • Ability to build, foster, and maintain productive relationships to meet and achieve contracted goals
