• Drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for Medical Devices testing, inspection, and certification solutions • Lead and coordinate Medical Devices task-force teams across Hardlines, Connectivity, and related business-assurance units in North America • Support sustainable growth and achieve double-digit annual growth objectives • Define Medical Devices strategy and develop greenfield growth and acquisition plans • Support Medical Devices divisions and North American business-assurance teams through regular meetings, market intelligence, opportunities, leads, and RFQs • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities across the Medical Devices ecosystem • Update North American Medical Devices testing market size and trends for management • Build and maintain networks with clients, suppliers, regulators, and industry associations • Develop and govern sales and marketing strategies with North American Medical Devices sales teams • Create customized proposals showcasing the value of SGS Medical Devices services • Coordinate with SGS Group and other regions when requested services are unavailable in North America • Provide regular performance, market-insight, and growth-opportunity reports to management
• Postgraduate-level intellectual abilities; academic and/or professional qualifications in any discipline are recognized if the candidate demonstrates the ability to apply learning skills to the role • Medical Devices Engineering or Biocompatibility major is preferred • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English • At least 8 years of professional experience working in Medical Devices manufacturing companies • At least 8 years of professional experience in a Medical Devices-related TIC company, including lab engineering and 5+ years in sales/business development • Over 5 years of P&L and management experience • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field • Strong understanding of Medical Devices industry/customer trends, supplier movement, materials development trends, and sustainability practices • Strong knowledge of Medical Devices regulations, particularly FDA 510(k), ASCA, and pre-approval compliance • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI • Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding P&L targets and business growth objectives • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Ability to work under stress and resilience to deal with failure and rebound • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required
