Requirements

• Strong grasp and understanding of the WordPress theme structure, template hierarchy, template tags, custom post meta, internationalization, and escaping/sanitization of data • Proficient at troubleshooting and resolving application issues • Experience conducting performance analysis and correcting performance bottlenecks • Knowledgeable with Git version control and branching strategies • Strong command of JavaScript, React, and jQuery • Strong command of PHP, HTML, and Sass • Experience using command line and build tools • Experience with the WooCommerce ecosystem • Ability to write a WordPress plugin from scratch • Strong ability to communicate frequently and effectively • Strong familiarity with web server technologies • Master problem solver with critical thinking skills • Competency with Sass, JavaScript, React, jQuery, build tools like NPM/Gulp/Webpack, PHP 8, the Block editor (Gutenberg), Git, Local WordPress development tools, Advanced Custom Fields, FacetWP, Gravity Forms, Woocommerce, REST APIs, and Yoast SEO
