Description

• Work closely with the CEO and CTO on projects that drive the success of Slang. • Develop applications that touch existing and incoming customers and propel sales. • Work on the existing full-stack kotlin MPP application, backend systems, and new projects. • Familiarity with hybrid functional/OOP programming, Java, SQL/NoSQL, expertise in AWS/GCP/Azure, and experience with microservices and stateless application paradigms in cloud computing environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building production quality applications. • Facility with static typing and type systems with generics. • At least a little experience with Java. • Expertise in AWS/GCP/Azure (we are on GCP). • Strong grasp of microservices and stateless application paradigms in cloud computing environments. • Fluent in SOLID principles/DDD/Clean Architecture. • Kotlin/Scala, ML/AI systems and infrastructure, and advanced degree with a focus in NLP are bonus points.
