Description

As a software engineer focused on the Slingshot Global Sensor Network (GSN) infrastructure, you will support Slingshot’s efforts to accelerate the security, safety, and sustainability of space. You will develop and maintain software and data pipelines that enable the optical tracking of satellites by Slingshot and its customers. Your responsibilities include building high-performance back-end software systems, engaging with customers, and promoting industry coding standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software engineering • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • Proficiency producing technical documentation • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Experience with technologies like Linux, Python, C/C++, MongoDB/DocumentDB/PostgreSQL, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
