Description
• Senior Data Engineer position • 6 months contract with the possibility of extension • Remote position based in the US • Required skills in AWS, SQL, and scripting languages • Preference for AWS Certification, experience with RDS, containerization technologies, and DevOps practices
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field • Proven experience working with Amazon Aurora and/or PostgreSQL in a production environment • Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL tuning techniques • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, Route 53, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation • Familiarity with database security concepts and best practices • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
