📋 Description

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers • Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake technology value throughout the sales cycle, from demos through proof of concept, design, and implementation • Create and develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins • Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects • Maintain knowledge of industry, competitive, and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly • Collaborate with other sales engineers and learn from wins and losses • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing • Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events • Work with ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures and account strategies • Contribute to and execute account and territory plans while engaging the broader internal and external ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment, or relevant industry experience such as analytics, data science, or data engineering • Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos • Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology • Hands-on experience with SQL • Ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake’s solutions • Customer-facing ability to communicate Snowflake’s vision effectively to diverse technical and executive audiences, both written and verbal • Python experience preferred but not required • Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git preferred but not required • Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies preferred but not required
