📋 Description

• Provide and manage the technical platform enabling Application Development teams to efficiently deliver and run business systems • Keep the technical estate and relevant delivery-stream skill set aligned with departmental strategy • Work with the Principal DevOps Engineer, Developer Community, Architecture, Central Platform Engineering, and other delivery-stream engineering teams to enforce and evolve standards • Ensure delivery-stream teams effectively use available tooling and platform elements • Help upskill teams and maintain knowledge of platform tools and modern development practices • Deliver technical life-cycling changes and keep the development platform supported, capable, and evergreen • Help teams design and deliver systems meeting required non-functional requirements, emphasizing reliability, robustness, and maintainability • Assist teams in diagnosing and correcting platform and tooling issues, collaborating with Central Platforms as needed • Deliver software infrastructure and tooling to delivery projects • Define and evolve best practices and share learnings with other engineering teams
