Description

• Work in one of our data processing teams to create and manage data pipelines • Work on products that continually ingest data from open source software repositories, aggregate the data, and analyze it • Monitor and observe data ingesting pipelines in a production environment • Work with data engineers and full stack developers to deliver the data to customers • Deliver value across nearly every decision made in the world of software development • Help companies create better and safer software faster • Transform innovation through software

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering • Strong Java developer • Knowledge and experience with some type of database (ex: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, ...) • Comfortable speaking and writing English • Preferred skills: - Comfortable in additional languages (ex: Scala, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, …) - Knowledge and experience with large scale data tools and techniques (ex:, Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, ZooKeeper...) - Knowledge and experience with a non-relational database (ex: HBase, Cassandra, ...) - Knowledge and experience working with queues and pipelines (ex: SNS, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, ...) - Knowledge and experience with big data cloud services (ex: AWS, GCP, Azure, ..)
