Description

• Spectrum.Life is seeking to hire a Revenue Accounting Lead, reporting into our Head of Finance, with two direct reports. • The Revenue Accounting Lead will ensure accurate, timely and relevant accounting of revenue from customer invoices, commercial contracts, and agreements. • This role will align with relevant accounting standards and companywide definitions around commercial contracts, lead revenue accounting in monthly financial close, support sensitivity analysis, assist in ensuring compliance with client specific MSAs, SOWs, and booking forms, streamline and improve existing finance systems and processes, oversee accurate and timely invoicing of customers, support annual audit process, enhance internal controls, provide data for use in executive reporting, assist with tax filings, and take ownership of areas of responsibility.

Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of software and SaaS revenue recognition • 2+ years' experience in a similar role • Qualified accountant • Innovative and customer-centric approach • Experience with Excel and other reporting tools • Knowledge of accounting systems such as Netsuite, Quickbooks • Advanced Excel skills • Team player with ability to work independently • Highly motivated and proactive • Results-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills • High energy, positive attitude and adaptability to change • Desire to learn and take on challenges
