We have experienced the journey of a small startup to IPO very closely. We have started on a similar journey again and are backed by prominent advisors and VC firms with multi-billion dollar portfolios. • We're in search of a Back-End Engineer who brings a passion for innovation and problem-solving, not limited to traditional coding. This role is for those with deep expertise in server-side languages and database technologies, excited to design and build the backbone of our AI solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our AI capabilities, developing high-performance back-end systems, and integrating advanced AI into data teams’ daily workflows. • Backend Integration of LLM Architectures : Take charge of developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers state-of-the-art Large Language Model (LLM) architectures, including RAG, ReAct, and Agent-based systems. Your responsibilities include architecting data pipelines for processing extensive datasets and devising AI-powered endpoints. These endpoints are crucial for our SaaS application and VSCode Extension, delivering an efficient and seamless experience to our users. • Graph-Based Data Structure Design : Design and develop large-scale graph-based data structures that effectively model complex data stores. This involves creating intricate, efficient structures that can be fed to our AI applications as context, ensuring both scalability and performance. • SQL Static Analysis for Data Lineage : Conduct static analysis of SQL to uncover data lineage and gain deeper insights. • Innovation at the Forefront : Create groundbreaking user interfaces that interact seamlessly with our RAG and agent-based backend systems. • High Visibility & Impact : Directly affect the productivity and capabilities of global data teams, as your contributions will be crucial to the daily operations of thousands of users. • Open Source Contribution : As part of our commitment to the developer community, you will contribute to our open-source initiatives, gaining recognition in the tech community. • Career Growth : This role is a launchpad into the rapidly advancing field of AI, offering exposure to state-of-the-art technologies and generative AI applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building Python-based web application backends and the infrastructure on which they run • 5+ Experience in building scalable back-end systems, APIs, and microservices. • Experience in building data pipelines using Airflow or dbt • (Desirable) Working knowledge of static code analysis of SQL • (Desirable) Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts. • (Desirable) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • (Desirable) Involvement in open-source projects.
