• Design, implement, and test software for onboard monitors and diagnostics • Determine response strategies to detected off-nominal conditions • Collaborate with systems and safety engineers • Develop a framework for fault detection and notification • Verify and validate monitoring and diagnostic software • Design a software system for analyzing fault conditions • Develop software to execute selected minimum risk maneuver • Develop hard real-time, safety significant C/C++ software • Develop software compliant with ISO-26262 or similar • Build a culture of inclusion, entrepreneurship, and innovation

Requirements

• Passion for delivering self-driving products • Deep experience in fast-paced, tech development environments • Strong software and hardware fundamentals • Ability to work in highly cross-functional teams • High degree of rigor in software engineering • Experience with fault detection and notification • Expertise in developing real-time, safety significant C/C++ software • Familiarity with ISO-26262 or similar compliance • Compliance with U.S. national security laws and regulations
