Description

• SweatWorks, the leading technology company in the fitness industry, is hiring a DevOps Engineer fluent in written and spoken English and with full-time availability • Work with internal teams to ensure infrastructure is running smoothly for developers to successfully ship high-quality code • Contribute directly to projects collaborating with product teams and clients • Responsible for designing and scaling infrastructure to deliver the best quality products • Act as the primary owner of AWS environment • Ensure security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure • Redesign and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines • Streamline development and deployment processes to boost productivity and stability • Lead the transformation of infrastructure setup using Terraform • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems • Define and govern DevOps standards and best practices • Educate and guide team members to adopt best practices • Ensure infrastructure and applications adhere to highest security standards • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement • Lead by example in solving complex technical challenges

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps roles • Proven track record of owning and optimizing cloud environments, preferably AWS • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions • Strong foundation in JavaScript • Advanced knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS • Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch • Ability to set up monitoring and alerting systems for cloud-based infrastructure • Knowledge of security best practices and tools • Strong problem-solving skills • Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git • Advanced expertise in Docker management and deployment • Proficiency in JavaScript • Hands-on experience with Serverless framework and Terraform
