Description

• Keep Our Systems Running: Understand how our systems and applications function, the limitations, and dependencies, allowing you to respond to and mitigate outages efficiently. Drive best practices and improvements through the RCA process. • Customer Excellence: Investigate and resolve support requests from our SRT, Customers and internal Synackers, using your debugging and engineering skills. Suggest and/or implement improvements to the process or the application itself. • Knowledge Sharing and Learning: Always looking for ways to improve yourself, and spreading that knowledge with others around you. Not afraid to ask questions or write a bit of documentation. • Advance our Monitoring: Bring your DevOps mindset and help improve our monitoring, alerting, dashboards and metrics to keep us proactive instead of reactive. • Prioritize Digital Safety: Partner with our security team to keep our applications safe, patched, and security conscious.

Requirements

• 5+ years of working in the Cloud [Azure, GCP, AWS] • 5+ years of Linux command line experience, across distributed systems • 5+ years of Networking using TCP/IP, SSL, certificates • 2+ years of Programming in languages such as Rails, GoLang, Python • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or practical experience. • You can think outside the box (and inside), have an appetite for the details, and you see complexity as a challenge.
