Description

• Join core team as Principal Software Engineer and lead development of innovative new application • Collaborate with talented team of data scientists, engineers, business experts, and visionary thinkers • Translate requirements into scalable and performant software solutions • Drive architecture and design of application stack • Establish and maintain development standards, code quality, and workflows • Provide mentorship to junior team members • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies • Play active role in code reviews • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading development of applications from inception to production • Strong expertise in designing scalable, extensible, and performant solutions • Proficiency in system architecture and data modeling • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Passion for staying up-to-date with latest industry trends and technologies • Leadership abilities and experience mentoring • 7+ years successful experience as full-stack developer in fast-paced startup environment • Experience in incremental feature development, scalability improvements, and performance enhancements • Full-stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript • Designing clean and scalable APIs with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS • System architecture and data model design • Optimizing data models and access patterns using databases like PostgreSQL • Cloud-based deployment and operation using RDS or Aurora, Elastic Beanstalk, and AWS ecosystem components • Infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, real-time event-driven applications, front-end frameworks, data visualization tools, and Java or Python-based data management
