Description

• We're seeking a talented Senior Social Content Creator to join our North American team at Social Element. In this role you’ll create, design and deliver socially-native content for a variety of clients, driving engagement with the brand’s community. • As Senior Social Content Creator, you’ll be in charge of ideating and creating social first content for a variety of clients from short-form video, to GIF, to meme content and photos. The perfect fit for this role will be obsessed with social culture and have a proven track record of creating content that hits on business goals while also driving audience interest. ’ll have a background in creating TikToks, Reels, and Shorts as well as animated GIFs and still content. This remote role is a great fit for someone who is organized, creative, and ready to drive innovative social ideas, all from your own home. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of social asset creation as well as mentoring and collaborating with others.

Requirements

• Avid and passionate social media user with an interest and curiosity in internet culture • Advanced applied knowledge of capturing content including lighting, equipment usage, and sound quality • Conceptual thinker with the ability to shoot and edit GIF, still, and short form video content (ex. TikTok and Reels) • Expert in graphic design and video editing, capturing video with a DSLR camera or mobile device • Solid foundation in photography, video, typography, graphic design, motion graphics, layout. Illustration skills are a plus • Confident in pitching content ideas to clients and internal stakeholders • Excitement to learn and collaborate with internal team members • Take pride in what we do, what we create, in Social Element and in our community • Proven experience including a portfolio of social-first work • Strong interest and understanding of social media and pop culture • Strong creative eye for content native to each social platform and a working knowledge of social platform audiences • Proven track record with recording content on DSLR and/or mobile camera as well as editing with traditional and app-based tools • Deep knowledge of digital and social media platforms, staying well informed of platform updates • Experience implementing social strategies and creating dynamic work that delivers on strategy briefs • Background in one or more of the following: native social media content creation and graphic, digital design • Photography and video editing experience are a must. Illustration and graphic design skills are a plus • Experience creating for and using social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
