• Advocate for artists distributed by The Orchard • Promote 3-6 artists per month and one-off promotions • Implement digital and in-person marketing strategies in college town and on campus • Work with local businesses, record stores, DJs, promoters, campus organizations • Host listening events, organize campus activations, create digital content for social media • Focus on new releases and tour support covering various genres • Liaise with influencers such as college radio station, DJs, student organizations, etc. • Maintain local social media presence promoting artists • Implement in-person marketing initiatives at record stores, shops, campus • Research online sites, forums, and networks for key demographic • Attend local and campus events to promote artists • Attend artists' shows to hand out promotional tools and get fan feedback • Submit detailed reports on marketing successes

Requirements

• Undergraduate student enrolled in a 4-year university with a minimum of 2 years left prior to graduation • Manage own hours and be accountable • Passion for music and music business & marketing • Understanding of social media marketing and active on various platforms • Availability of 20 hours per week • Well-written, well-spoken, team player, excellent communicator • Own transportation methods • Flexible schedule for team calls and tour coverage
