Description
• As a Senior Backend Engineer, work on payments area projects and lead teams. • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary agile teams for well-engineered solutions. • Own engineering practices in a rapidly expanding company with exciting projects.
Requirements
• Extensive experience (4+ years) building server-side applications with Java 8 or newer • Sound knowledge of a Java backend framework (e.g. Spring/Spring Boot) • Experience with microservices and implementing and consuming RESTful APIs • Experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions • Mindset of delivering secure, well-tested and well-documented software • Willing to own code and team’s processes from development to production • Exposure to complex solutions in payments-related industries • Experience integrating to third parties • Experience with relational databases • Comfortable working in agile methodologies, ideally Scrum • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience • Exposure to continuous integration, delivery and deployment
