Description

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, product, and analysts • Continuously add to and enhance the code base, systems, and processes • Focus on delivering value to customers in efficient and creative ways • Evangelize Engineering best practices • Contribute to the code base using Node, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Postgres • Experience in distributed systems and third-party integrations like Stripe • Write clear, documented, and testable code • Be part of the on-call team for production incidents • Lead efforts to break down large projects into manageable tasks for the team • Take the lead in technical design and planning for major initiatives • Own and maintain up-to-date documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js, React.js/Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Postgres • Located in the US, do not require visa sponsorship, and are comfortable traveling every ~6 weeks to the US or France • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment • Collaborated with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Designers, and others • Like working on projects with ambiguity • Skilled at leading technical discussions • Excellent written and spoken English communication
