Description

• Analyze hazards and risks, derive requirements and develop safety case for autonomous driving • Derive safety-related product requirements based on industry standards, regulations, best practices, industry working groups, and state-of-the-art • Coordinate teams to ensure safety aspects of autonomy ecosystem are captured and reviewed • Define metrics, contribute to Safety Case development, and track Safety Performance Indicators • Lead reviews of safety artifacts and present safety-related topics to internal safety review boards • Work with internal business partners to establish alignment on safety processes and methods

Requirements

• Degree(s) in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with relevant experience • PHD with 5+ years of experience, Master of Science degree with 7+ years, Bachelor of Science degree and 10+ years • Systems-level thinking with complex system knowledge • Deep experience in requirements management for safety-related systems • Understanding of industry standards and best practices for autonomous technologies • Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Safety Of The Intended Functionality (ISO 21448) • Knowledge in software engineering, networking, electrical and mechanical systems, AI/ML • Experience with safety analyses: HAZOP, FMEA, STPA, FTA • Occasional travel expected, about 15% or less • Bonus Points: Certification related to requirements management, understanding of agile/SDLC, critical thinking, safety data/statistical methods
