Description

• Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. • Advises on design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. • Interfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions. • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software to perform and develop engineering calculations on specific projects and provide state stamp when applicable. • Reviews product failure data and interprets analyses to establish or rule out material and process causes. • All other duties as assigned. • Endeavors to create a workplace environment which is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product and focus on the customer, and provides room for individual responsibilities and ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil an Engineering program with a structural emphasis or equivalent. • 5+ years of Structural design experience • Engineer in Training preferred. • SolidWorks Certification preferred. • PE License bonus • Strong communication and organizational skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Work in a collaborative environment, developing solutions as a team. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interface at all levels. • Organized, focused, and results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple parallel projects. • Will need to come on-site for 50% of the time for the first 2-4 months for training. • Would come on-site a few times a year for meetings and/or events.
