Description

• Responsible for processes, tools, and methodologies needed to enable a high performance SaaS development lifecycle and environment • Emphasis on reliability, quality, security, efficiency, and customer outcomes • DevOps solutions directly contribute to customer success and TradeCentric's growth • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to provision and manage resources • Help software developers work efficiently in the code-to-deploy lifecycle while maintaining quality and security • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security in a cloud environment • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across services • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to incidents and ensure system uptime • Develop and maintain relevant integrations between internal applications • Perform operating system and application maintenance, patches, and upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred • Proficiency with AWS core service administration, EC2, ECS, S3, Linux • Proficiency with Docker and Terraform • Strong experience with Git, Github, and Jenkins • Experience configuring monitoring and alerting using NewRelic or other tools • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. bash, PHP) for automation and tool development • Experience working with databases and search engines (e.g. MariaDB, ElasticSearch) • Experience with CI/CD implementation and best practices • Experience developing integrations between internal applications (e.g. Jira, JumpCloud, Slack) • Relevant system administration experience including provisioning, database deployment, security monitoring, and system patching • Effective communicator, team player, and collaborator
