📋 Description

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications, focusing on HL7 interface testing and claims processing modules • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end Playwright automated test suites for claims, enrollment, and member-facing portal workflows • Validate inbound and outbound HL7 message flows, including parsing, mapping, and acknowledgment handling • Test claims submission, adjudication, remittance, and denial workflows end to end • Extend and stabilize the Playwright regression suite while controlling execution time and flakiness • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using bug-tracking tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria • Validate EDI transaction sets for accuracy and compliance • Ensure systems comply with HIPAA regulations and healthcare industry standards

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of test automation experience • 1+ year building automation suites in Playwright • Proficiency with Playwright using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x message types, including ADT, ORM, ORU, and DFT • Experience with HL7 interface testing • Understanding of the medical claims lifecycle, including enrollment, eligibility, claims submission, adjudication, and EOB/remittance • Experience with EDI healthcare transactions, including X12 837P/837I, 835, and 270/271 • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated Playwright tests • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools • Experience with HL7 FHIR or other modern interoperability frameworks • Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend verification • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems • Experience integrating Playwright suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins • API-level test automation with Playwright request context or similar tooling • Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security requirements
