📋 Description

• Lead aspects of the accounting function for the Corporate entity in the Stagwell network • Perform management reporting functions for the client • Provide monthly financial results analysis to heads of Shared Services functions • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities • Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies • Support preparation of financial statements under US GAAP or IFRS, as applicable • Manage accounting for accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, and other corporate accounting areas • Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and documentation and responding to auditor requests • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies • Analyze financial results and explain significant variances • Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, and other business functions • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automation, and reporting efficiency • Participate in ERP implementations, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives as needed • Report to the Stagwell Core Brand Accounting Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with large ERP and accounting software preferred, including SAP, Oracle, Intacct, NetSuite, or Maconomy • Corporate accounting experience • Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Basic understanding of technical aspects of account analyses and financial statements • Ability to reconcile accounts and perform general ledger analysis • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • 3+ years of accounting experience • Basic Excel skills, including SUMIF, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables • Ability to set priorities, multitask, meet critical deadlines, and pay attention to detail • Highly organized and motivated self-starter • Good interpersonal communication skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Fluent English level • Located in Latin America
