📋 Description

• Administer, support and evolve corporate Linux environments and client environments. • Perform installation, configuration, upgrades and maintenance of virtual Linux servers. • Manage Linux-based infrastructure services, ensuring availability, performance and stability of environments. • Analyze and resolve incidents, problems and requests related to Linux environments. • Perform troubleshooting on operating systems, services, networking and storage. • Manage virtualized environments and support infrastructure-related activities. • Monitor infrastructure monitoring tools and take proactive actions to identify and resolve issues. • Create and maintain technical documentation for the managed environments. • Interact with clients, internal teams and vendors to address technical requests. • Participate in deployment, upgrade and continuous improvement projects for the infrastructure. • Participate in on-call rotations when required. • Work alongside the monitoring team and customer support. • Monitor consoles and respond to alert events. • Modify virtual server hardware resources. • Notify the team of actions taken, follow the communication group and engage support teams when necessary. • Answer phone calls.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience administering Linux environments in production. • Experience troubleshooting operating systems and Linux services. • Experience with virtualized environments. • Experience administrating infrastructure services. • Experience supporting critical and client environments. • Administration of Linux distributions such as Red Hat, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu or Debian. • Management of users, groups, permissions, ACLs and file systems. • Administration of SSH, NFS, Samba, Apache, Nginx, cron and systemd. • Knowledge of package management with YUM/DNF and APT. • Knowledge of LVM, disk management and file systems. • Knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash) for automating administrative routines. • Administration of virtualized environments with VMware vSphere/ESXi. • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools such as Zabbix or similar. • Basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall and VPN. • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Networks or related fields. • Knowledge of Docker, Ansible and Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus. • Courses in Linux, Shell Scripting, Virtualization, Networking or Automation are considered a plus. • Certifications such as LPIC-1 or LPIC-2, RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+ and ITIL Foundation are desirable; RHCE is a plus. • Availability to participate in on-call rotations when required. • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:12 to 18:00.
