📋 Description

• Manage the review, redlining, drafting and negotiation of procurement contracts • Support Procurement governance by ensuring compliance with established review, approval and contracting processes • Support procurement categories including Technology & SaaS, Marketing Services, Events, Sponsorships, HR, Corporate and Professional Services, and other supplier engagements • Coordinate with Procurement and business stakeholders on commercial terms, financial matters, deliverables, pricing, payment terms, SLAs, KPIs and operational requirements • Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance, risk summaries, fallback positions and stakeholder explanations • Route, track and document legal reviews through procurement and CLM processes and approved systems • Collaborate with Data Privacy, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Marketing and other internal teams • Improve Procurement Legal processes, templates, playbooks, clause guidance, checklists, training materials and documentation • Educate Procurement and business teams on Legal review requirements and submission processes • Escalate material legal, financial, operational, privacy, compliance and business risks • Provide workload support, continuity and back-up coverage for Procurement Legal matters

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced experience in contract management, procurement legal support, commercial contracting, legal operations or a closely related contracts role • Strong experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating supplier, procurement, vendor, SaaS, services, marketing, events, sponsorship, professional services or technology agreements • Excellent understanding of contract structure and core legal provisions • Ability to distinguish legal risk from business, commercial, operational, financial, procurement, compliance and data privacy ownership areas • Pragmatic and balanced approach to risk while supporting business priorities • Ability to maintain a consistent Veeam position across recurring clauses and negotiation points • Ability to propose clear, enforceable, balanced and business-enhancement-friendly contract language • Excellent written communication skills for legal notes, negotiation rationales, stakeholder comments, approval explanations and escalation summaries • Strong process discipline and attention to detail, including tracking, record-keeping, version control, document hygiene and follow-through • Proactive ownership mindset and ability to anticipate issues, identify missing inputs and move matters forward • Collaborative working style and ability to partner with the Lead Contracts Manager • Ability to use approved review processes rather than informal or offline reviews • Good judgment regarding when to push back, compromise or escalate • Comfort working in a multinational organization with multiple stakeholders, legal entities, jurisdictions and approval paths
