📋 Description

• Contribute to development of the Bachelor's program in Digital Business and Transformation • Assist in recruiting students • Conduct live English-language sessions on accounting, controlling, corporate financial management, and digital finance • Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support for project and research work • Design and evaluate portfolio assessments, exams, and bachelor's theses • Conduct practice-oriented research and transfer projects in data-driven controlling, digital finance, and automation of financial processes • Cooperate with industry and research institutions • Initiate research collaborations and acquire third-party funding • Publish research findings in academic journals and present them at relevant conferences • Represent the university at specialist presentations and industry events • Participate in research-related product developments, founding/start-up ventures, and patent applications • Contribute to academic self-governance and further development of study programs • Participate in international collaboration • Potentially give a teaching session, outline a research project, and complete at least one interview during the appointment procedure

🎯 Requirements

• A completed university degree • Pedagogical-didactic aptitude confirmed through practical experience • Special aptitude for in-depth independent scholarly work, generally evidenced by an above-average doctorate in business administration, finance, controlling or a related field • Special achievements in the application or development of scientific findings and methods over at least five years of professional practice • At least three years of the professional practice must have been outside the higher education sector • Preferably experience in controlling, finance, auditing, or financial management roles in industry • Ability and willingness to conduct teaching, research, and transfer activities in English • Willingness to develop higher education teaching competencies, particularly in generative AI-supported teaching • Motivation to develop and apply new didactic formats in accounting and finance education • Readiness to collaborate with colleagues in applied computing and AI, digital business transformation, and immersive design • Proven experience in industry or research projects related to financial technologies and data-driven management • Experience in international contexts or motivation to integrate international financial reporting and management perspectives into teaching and research • Willingness to actively shape the foundation and growth of a new university • Visible research focus in digital finance, data-driven controlling, or financial process automation • Understanding of knowledge and technology transfer between science, industry, and society • Application documents must be submitted in English via the online portal • Foreign educational qualifications require proof of equivalence
