📋 Description

• Contribute to development of the Bachelor's program in Intelligent Systems and Applied Computing • Assist in recruiting students • Conduct live English-language sessions and expert seminars on computer systems, networks, cloud computing, embedded systems, and IT security • Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support for project and research work • Design and evaluate portfolio assessments, exams, and bachelor's theses • Conduct practice-oriented research and transfer projects in distributed systems, cloud and edge computing, and cybersecurity • Cooperate with industry and research institutions • Initiate research collaborations and acquire third-party funding • Publish research findings in academic journals and present them at relevant conferences • Represent the university at specialist presentations and industry events • Participate in research-related product development, founding/start-up ventures, and patent applications • Contribute to academic self-governance and further development of study programs • Participate in international collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• A completed university degree • Pedagogical-didactic aptitude confirmed through practical experience • Special aptitude for in-depth independent scholarly work, generally evidenced by an above-average doctorate in computer science, computer engineering, IT security, or a related field • Special achievements in the application or development of scientific findings and methods over at least five years of professional practice • At least three years of the professional practice must have been outside the higher education sector • Preferably experience in systems engineering, cloud/infrastructure, embedded systems, or cybersecurity roles in industry • Ability and willingness to conduct teaching, research, and transfer activities in English • Willingness to develop and further build higher education teaching competencies, particularly in generative AI-supported teaching • Motivation to develop and apply new didactic formats in systems, infrastructure, and security education • Readiness to collaborate with colleagues in applied computing and AI, digital business transformation, and immersive design • Proven experience in industry or research projects related to systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity • Experience in international contexts or motivation to integrate international systems and security projects into teaching and research • Willingness to actively shape the foundation and growth of a new university • Visible research focus in distributed systems, cloud/edge computing, or cybersecurity • Understanding of knowledge and technology transfer between science, industry, and society • Required application documents include a cover letter, CV, final certificate from the last general education school attended, academic degree certificates/diplomas, teaching activities list, evidence of pedagogical-didactic aptitude, research activities list, publications/presentations list, and applicable funding or international experience lists • Foreign educational qualifications require proof of equivalence
