Description

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures utilizing AWS and Databricks • Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for quality, computation, and cost efficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into effective solutions • Design solutions for ingestion and curation of data in a concurrent cloud environment • Create observability and alerting routines for pipeline health • Establish data quality checks and ensure accuracy throughout data lifecycle • Research and leverage performant database technologies to support end user applications • Participate in code reviews and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies • Develop data services using secure, scalable, and observable RESTful APIs

Requirements

• Minimum of a BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline • 3+ years of experience in software development with cloud services • Deep understanding of metadata management, data ingestion, and curation • Proficiency in Apache Spark, Hive, and other big data frameworks • Familiarity with database technologies such as Aurora Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redshift • Experience with RESTful API development and CI/CD deployment using Github actions • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
