📋 Description

• Uncover and develop new customer opportunities by articulating the value of Cohesity solutions to both business and technical audiences • Lead technical sales engagements for customers, from discovery to solution validation • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations • Create excellent technical solution proposals based on technical discovery, industry and domain expertise aligned to customer's business value drivers, pain points and positive business outcomes • Identify and proactively address technical risks to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction • Drive and execute proof of concepts (PoCs) that clearly demonstrate technical capabilities to demonstrate business value • Assure strong pre-sales planning to enable customers to successfully integrate or extend Cohesity into their production environments, together with our professional services team and technical channel partner network • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to align on customer needs and product improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Solutions Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales • Strong background in enterprise IT environments (e.g., data protection, cloud, databases, or infrastructure) • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder customer engagements • Strong understanding of competitive positioning and solution differentiation • Deep understanding of data protection, cyber resilience, or modern data platforms • Experience working in hybrid and cloud environments • Familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, and infrastructure technologies • Industry certifications (cloud, database, or related technologies) are a plus • Contributions to technical content such as white papers, demos, or training materials
