📋 Description

• Lead all business development activities across the region with a broad mandate • Partner with European Commercial leadership to align BD activities with portfolio gaps and market priorities • Define and execute the European BD strategy with a strong emphasis on generics and innovative brand opportunities • Anticipate market evolution and proactively identify innovation strategies • Identify and pursue licensing and strategic partnerships in Europe • Evaluate opportunities based on financial and strategic objectives • Lead negotiations and due diligence processes • Collaborate with Global BD leadership to inform global growth strategies • Lead and mentor a European BD team

🎯 Requirements

• 8-12+ years of business development or corporate strategy experience in the pharmaceutical industry • Deep knowledge of European generics, complex generics, established brands, and innovative brand strategies • Proven success in mid- to large-scale BD transactions (licensing, partnerships, etc…) with measurable impact • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about market evolution and innovation in mature pharma spaces • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Commercial and Regulatory teams • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership presence; fluent in English (other European languages a plus)
