• Develop Launch Strategy: - Conduct market research to understand the Malaysian consumer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive launch strategy tailored to the Malaysian market. - Define clear objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the launch. • Execute Launch Plan: - Coordinate with marketing, sales, operations, and other relevant teams to execute the launch plan effectively. - Oversee the development of marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and advertising strategies specific to Malaysia. - Ensure alignment of all activities with the overall brand positioning and messaging. • Establish Partnerships: - Identify and establish partnerships with local distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders to expand the brand's reach in Malaysia. - Negotiate favorable terms and agreements to maximize distribution and sales opportunities. - Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure ongoing support and collaboration. • Monitor Performance: - Track and analyze key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the launch strategy and initiatives. - Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize performance. - Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on the progress and results of the launch. • Manage Budget: - Develop and manage the budget for the Malaysia brand launch, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes. - Monitor expenses and financial performance against budgetary targets, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track. • Stay Current: - Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory changes relevant to the Malaysian market. - Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement to maintain a competitive edge.
• At least 8 years of work experience, with over 4 years in the field of marketing. • Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or business development, preferably in the consumer goods industry. • Experience in setting up business sales points in Malaysia. • Strong understanding of the Malaysian market dynamics, consumer preferences, and cultural nuances. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment. • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. • Fluency in English; proficiency in other local languages is a plus.
