Description

• Responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business requirements • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs • Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs • Collaborate with content creators to update and refresh website content • Implement design improvements to enhance aesthetics and user engagement • Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and messaging • Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points • Translate research findings into actionable design solutions • Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to align design goals with business objectives • Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to various stakeholders • Ensure designs are responsive and provide a seamless experience across different devices and screen sizes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for websites and digital products • Knowledge and proven ability to meet federal Section 508 compliance standards • Passion for user experience and HCD • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and successful projects • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc. • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and content refresh initiatives • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
