Description

• Contribute to the product strategy for MediaWiki and its execution • Define and evolve interfaces for developers to customize and extend MediaWiki • Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders • Translate product/technical strategy into a roadmap • Design pathways to improve coherence, usability, and security of interface capabilities • Work with engineering teams and volunteer developers • Manage requests to engineering, including prioritization and stakeholder management • Use data-driven methods to inform product goals and measure impact • Engage with internal stakeholders and technical community • Contribute to MediaWiki Insights emails

Requirements

• Experience designing, building, and shipping platform capabilities • Ability to manage, prioritize, and break down complex problems • Strong technical grounding and communication skills • Ability to identify opportunities to improve interfaces • Experience with unifying disparate products/services • Interpersonal, presentation, and narrative design skills
