Description

• As the Social Media Lead for this stealth project, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to drive awareness and engagement for a video game. Your role involves crafting compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences, coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, influencers, as well as organizing events and promotions to maximize player acquisition and retention. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including game developers, community managers, and external partners to ensure alignment on brand messaging and goals, while leveraging data analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize marketing efforts for maximum impact in a highly competitive gaming industry landscape.

Requirements

• Proven experience in marketing roles within the video game industry, with a successful track record of launching and promoting games across multiple platforms • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and emerging trends in the gaming industry • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and project management software • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of gamer culture and preferences
