Description

• Manages contract and grant accounting/billing functions and associated project and accounting tasks • Responsible for all aspects of direct project accounting and reporting • Prepares internal and external financial reports/funder invoices for grants, cooperative agreements, and commercial contracts • Reports to Director, Contract Accounting • Responsible for managing direct cost center set up and maintenance • Provides training and guidance to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; master’s degree preferred • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience required, of which 2+ years working with federally funded projects • Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent Excel skills • Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint or similar accounting system required • Good speaking and writing skills • Occasional international travel may be required
