Description

• Plan and execute whole-genome sequencing analysis and other analytic research projects • Develop and implement a cloud computing architecture to improve computational infrastructure • Provide technical assistance to bioinformaticians, laboratory staff, and epidemiologists • Disseminate research results through various platforms • Attend training workshops and complete corresponding reports

Requirements

• PhD in bioinformatics, genomic epidemiology, microbiology, or related field • 5+ years experience in microbial and/or public health bioinformatics • 2+ years experience with cloud computing • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages • Experience with phylogenetic and comparative genomic analysis • Experience in UNIX/LINUX environment and writing shell scripts
