Description

• Help develop and implement more systematic approaches to information and knowledge management practices, as well as onboarding and training practices for our business clients and the legal team. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, support, product, service, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance, as well as various business units to work most efficiently with all departments. • Assist the legal team with go-to-market work in order to ensure deals close in a timely manner. • Utilize data analytics to assess legal department performance and identify areas for improvement. • Manage legal vendor billing and identify savings in how the team utilizes outside counsel and vendors. • Assist with evaluating, implementing, and maintaining legal technology tools to enhance departmental performance. • Support and handle a variety of ad hoc projects within the team as they arise • The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with experience in data management, contract management, matter and project management, reporting and building automations within the various tools used by the team, and interested in exploring AI solutions to enhance our legal processes, as well as able to handle a very fast paced environment and having knowledge of how legal teams work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the relevant experience of Legal Operations – legal studies and/or paralegal experience is a bonus • Strong “business-friendly” style that comes with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks at a time in an efficient way • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Sharepoint and legal tech applications, specifically Ironclad, Linksquares and Salesforce • Ability to embrace and implement change, including to help conceptualize, plan and execute new ideas and solutions • Time management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently on a remote basis and as a member of a team
