Description

• Develop systems and utilities for custom proprietary engines • Integrate rendering engine into existing codebase • Make architectural changes to accommodate new engine features • Work on save data management, job system, memory management, and development support features • Review code from other engineers • Design, test, and debug own code • Mentor engineers in engine development best practices • Communicate with all members of the company • Estimate tasks and deliver them timely • Write clear, maintainable code • Test and document solutions • Take ownership of codebase areas and complex features • Coordinate with team members to deliver features • Provide solid programming expertise and architecture suggestions • Perform code review analysis

Requirements

• Few years of work experience with custom engines • Released games on consoles • Proficiency in C++ • Ability to decipher and understand complex systems • Interest in working on different parts of a game engine • Confidence in communication with team members
