Description

• Programming complex surveys using an in-house scripting language based on Python • Setting up surveys for fielding in YouGov’s multiple markets and languages • Testing survey appearance and user experience on various web browsing platforms and devices • Monitoring, investigating, and reporting on data collection issues resulting from survey programming • Cleaning and preparing survey data deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or similar fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education • At least 1 year of programming experience in Python and/or R • Experience manipulating and summarizing large datasets with statistical packages and data management tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time • Results-driven focus and ability to see issues to completion in a timely manner • Excellent communication skills with internal clients, both written and oral • Ability to excel and work with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely
