Description

• Senior frontend engineer to help design and build the service from the ground up. • Reporting to an experienced CTO. • Being one of the first engineering hires at a seed-stage startup. • Taking responsibility for conceiving, designing, building and bringing the product to market. • Working with UI sketches, data schema and colleagues to collaborate with. • Working in a startup environment. • Helping wineries optimize their business with tailored workflows, inventory tracking, tasting room management, direct-to-consumer sales, and CRM.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at 2-3+ tech-focused companies. • Expert knowledge of React/TypeScript. • Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS. • Solid grasp of UX design fundamentals and the ability to translate an idea into reasonable basic UI. • Optional: GraphQL, Chakra or another UI component toolkit, React Native, Solid knowledge of HTTP protocol, writing GraphQL resolvers on the backend, MongoDB, AWS Cognito/Lambda/DocumentDB/API Gateway/CloudFormation, writing good technical documentation, working knowledge of managed cloud-service software development, esp. AWS, working knowledge of building software in containerized deployments, with full CI/CD, a passion for leading and mentoring engineers, a desire to work directly with customers.
