Description

• Zicasso is looking for a highly skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers Zicasso's innovative travel platform. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of engineers. The role reports to the VP of Engineering. • This is an international, fully-remote, freelance contractor position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States. We are particularly seeking candidates who are based in Latin America (Brazil, Argentina). • There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with California, eg. until 2pm Pacific Time Zone (GMT -8). • The work will all be conducted in English.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years of experience in frontend software development, ideally in multiple languages • Experience in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts • Expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Experience working with source control systems such as Git. • Experience in working with API's and integrating with Back-End Services • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Experience in Agile development methodologies is considered a plus • Passion for the travel industry and desire to create exceptional user experiences
