📋 Description

• Partner with the product management team and cross-functional software engineering teams to ensure stakeholder value delivery • Plan and oversee multiple technology projects aligned with overall timelines • Support dependency management processes • Facilitate and adhere to PMO governance • Lead and manage projects at an executive level • Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation • Manage cross-functional project teams including engineers, QA, and other technical staff • Communicate with management, sponsors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project goals, timelines, and dependencies • Participate in or facilitate ceremonies such as backlog refinement and planning • Leverage Agile practices to improve team throughput, transparency, and collaboration • Identify and manage risks, develop contingency plans, and manage stakeholder expectations • Monitor and help resolve issues • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status reports • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction • Work with teams across departments and geographies, external partners, and clients • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant experience • 11-15 years including 7+ years relevant experience in managing technology projects of increasing complexity • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices including Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work independently • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner • Experience working with agile methodologies, including Scrum as well as mentoring and upskilling teams in agile methodologies • Experience working with project management tools, such as Jira and Airtable • Experience working with technical teams, including software engineers and quality analysts • Knowledge of software development lifecycles and software development methodologies • Strong understanding of the Life Insurance and Annuity Industry - Preferred • Scrum, SAFe, PMP or other project management certifications are a plus - Preferred
