📋 Description

• Administer and integrate business-critical SaaS systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, customer support platforms, billing or subscription systems, collaboration tools, and engineering tools • Design reliable workflows and data synchronization across multiple SaaS platforms • Write automation scripts and build automation tooling using modern development environments, IDEs, CLIs, and SDKs • Build internal CLI tools, small internal services, event-driven automation pipelines using APIs and webhooks, internal bots, and ChatOps integrations • Design and implement reliable API-driven integrations between business systems • Automate CRM workflows, synchronize customer, billing, and product usage data, automate entitlement provisioning, and connect support, product, and CRM workflows • Develop internal tools for IT and operations, onboarding and access management, data synchronization, business operations dashboards, and Slack or internal collaboration platforms • Identify opportunities to introduce AI-powered support assistants, LLM-driven knowledge retrieval, automated ticket triage and resolution, AI copilots, and operational data analysis • Create automated and developer-friendly employee workflows, including onboarding and offboarding pipelines, identity and access provisioning, self-service IT automation, and internal APIs • Serve as the ultimate level of IT support for end-users across a global remote workforce, emphasizing root-cause analysis and person-first service • Ensure adherence to established ISO frameworks • Implement and administer endpoint security measures, including Mobile Device Management with JumpCloud and enterprise-grade password management • Conduct routine access audits and enforce Zero Trust architecture principles

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering, including 3+ years in a senior role owning internal business systems and automation at a SaaS/tech company • Strong scripting and programming ability in Python, Go, Bash, and Node.js • Solid experience operating GCP and AWS environments, including VPCs, IAM roles, EC2, and S3 • Strong experience working with external APIs, including REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth authentication flows, webhook-based event systems, and SaaS SDKs and integration frameworks • Deep working knowledge of macOS and Linux environments • Experience implementing and managing SSO, SAML, SCIM provisioning, identity lifecycle automation, and Zero Trust access models • Experience supporting or passing security and compliance audits such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR • Experience working in remote-first or globally distributed environments strongly preferred • Experience experimenting with or implementing AI-driven automation, including LLM APIs, AI copilots, semantic search or knowledge retrieval systems, and automated AI support or ticket triage • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for running internal IT microservices • Experience applying SLIs/SLOs to internal IT services • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize complex backlogs independently • Great interpersonal skills and clear communication • Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to automate and improve internal IT business processes • Understanding of security frameworks and MDM • Proactive approach to identifying and solving process gaps
