📋 Description

• Lead software engineers in delivering business-critical applications • Establish technical direction and architectural standards • Drive AWS cloud adoption and modernization initiatives • Ensure solution scalability, performance, security, and reliability • Promote DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development practices • Support incident resolution, operational excellence, and continuous improvement • Provide technical leadership and delivery ownership for a team building and operating scalable cloud-native AWS applications • Drive architecture decisions, engineering best practices, and solution design across Spring Boot microservices, OpenSearch platforms, CI/CD, observability, and AWS infrastructure • Collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams • Mentor engineers, improve development processes, and ensure successful execution of business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • 10+ years’ experience in this capacity • 5+ years in a lead role • 10+ years of Java development, including modern Java versions, Spring Boot, and microservices • 5+ years developing AWS cloud-native applications, including ECS/Fargate, IAM, RDS, ALB, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager • 5+ years of technical lead or software engineering lead experience • 5+ years with distributed systems and event-driven microservices, including API integration and performance optimization • 3+ years of DevOps and CI/CD practices using Docker, GitHub, and observability tools • Experience with Spring Boot, Java latest versions, microservices architecture, REST API development, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, cloud architecture, observability and monitoring, DevOps practices, IaC, SQL and NoSQL databases, event-driven architecture, API integration, and performance optimization
