• Perform all aspects of account management • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with corporate and senior management staff in key accounts • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow sales and market share across assigned institutional accounts • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in neurology and urology departments and associated hospital systems • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute account opportunities • Provide strategic and tactical direction regarding target accounts to regional and district teams • Advise sales and marketing management on challenges and opportunities within key target accounts • Assess team learning needs and coordinate targeted training • Develop annual business plans with goals and objectives to increase sales volume and market share across FDA-approved indications • Identify local opportunities and threats and modify business plans accordingly • Anticipate changes and address shifts in the customer and market landscape • Use financial and quantitative data and analyses to assess account opportunities • Assess profitability and sales impact of target account opportunities • Partner with Field Sales Managers to evaluate and penetrate institutional account drivers • Bring account-level analysis, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to grow volume and share • Maintain compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and industry requirements • Travel 75% of the time
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • 3+ years of Health Science Field or Sales experience • Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales • In lieu of degree: 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience with minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales • Ability to network and partner effectively across functional areas • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Demonstrated leadership skills • Proven record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments • Must satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements • Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required HCIR credentials • May need to satisfy background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses • Must drive a personal auto or company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment, as applicable
