📋 Description

• Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with oncology departments and practices. • Increase education on approved product benefits and risks. • Develop new business and improve resource utilization. • Grow sales and market share by achieving the sales plan for assigned oncology products and indications. • Understand and address customer needs and gather market intelligence. • Build relationships across accounts to benefit patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals. • Partner with in-house and cross-franchise leaders to design and adapt approaches and tactics. • Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations using approved data. • Serve as lead US Commercial contact for targeted accounts in the assigned geography. • Collaborate with AbbVie and co-promotion partners to provide customer support, site support, and address customer issues. • Build, implement, communicate, and update strategic and tactical business plans for targeted accounts. • Facilitate physician and treatment-team training on approved and safe product use. • Monitor and report sales progress. • Provide routine communications to internal and external partners. • Act as AbbVie’s key point of contact for each account and coordinate timely support. • Attend and participate in clinician boards, societies, and healthcare professional meetings. • Remain current on clinical, market, and payer developments in oncology and related disease areas. • Complete required training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures. • Identify and communicate business and customer implications of relevant information. • Maintain understanding of approved product labeling and disease-state knowledge. • Optimize data, resources, and tools to identify sales opportunities and program strategy. • Participate in relevant local organizational programs with Legal/OEC approval.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located within a reasonable distance from San Diego, CA. • Business savvy and analytical ability to analyze diverse data sets using multiple tools. • Ability to define account and program strategies that drive business objectives. • Ability to meet customer needs in complex environments through innovative strategies aligned with company and customer objectives. • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead without direct authority. • Experience developing teams on complex projects or challenges to achieve results. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Persistence and grit with a strong track record of succeeding in challenging environments. • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe-driving requirements. • Bachelor’s degree, preferred. • Oncology, specialty, or other pharmaceutical experience, preferred. • Account management experience in any industry, preferred. • Specialty pharmacy experience, preferred. • Healthcare industry experience, especially working with patients or consulting healthcare companies, preferred. • People management or other leadership experience, preferred. • MBA or other advanced degree, preferred. • Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
